You will make an impact in the following ways:
- Assist with all aspects of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, incontinent care, walking, and feeding, as part of personal care.
- Offer medication support to clients

- Prepare reports for clients regarding their plan of care and any modifications to their daily procedures. In accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety legislation, regulations, and Carefor policies and procedures, the Supervisor may assign additional related duties and tasks.
We are looking for individuals who have:
- Certificate in Personal Support Worker, Developmental Service Worker, Foreign Trained Nurse or Doctor, Paramedic Graduate, Nursing Student, or Registered Practical Nurse
- High-quality written and verbal communication abilities
- Capacity to operate independently
- A current standard first aid certificate is required.
- Certificate of Current CPR Level C
- Non-violent crisis intervention training is regarded as a valuable asset.
- Suicide ASIST training is regarded as a valuable asset.
- Mental Health First Aid is regarded as a valuable asset.
- Palliative care experience is regarded as a valuable asset.
- Preference is given to individuals who have experience working with the destitute population
- Preference is given to individuals who have experience working with substance abusers and/or mentally unwell clients.
The Client Care Worker is a critical function in our communities, as it has a positive impact on the lives of clients and fosters the warmth of human connection. To deliver the highest quality of service to our clients as a Casual Client Care Worker, we require a minimum of six sessions per month, including one weekend day.
In addition, we require that you be adaptable to work day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., evening shifts from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., and overnight shifts from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., please. Candidates who are flexible and have free availability may work up to full-time hours.
You will need to have:
- Clear vulnerable sector assessment (obtained within the past six months)
- Current vaccinations for hepatitis, polio, rubella, tetanus, and diphtheria
- Tuberculosis test results that are negative
