Position Overview:

The Child welfare Assistant is responsible for the welfare and education of the children at the Children’s Centre, under the supervision of the Children’s Centre Coordinator. The Child Care Assistant is required to consistently demonstrate initiative in ensuring that the children are engaged with the apparatus and supplies that have been provided.

In order to be considered for employment in this position, a current and satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check are required. Any service charges that are incurred will be the responsibility of the successful candidate. A security check is deemed current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the commencement of employment.
